In his journal article, Louis speculated the cell-like particles could be extraterrestrial bacteria transported to Earth on a comet or meteor that broke apart in the upper atmosphere and fell suspended in rain drops.

Is this an invasion from outer space? Well...in this case, even if in this report they are able to prove the existence of extraterrestrial life, I'm not sure if this would be worth writing home about. The so called "experts" like to use the existence of extraterrestrial life as evidence for the theory of evolution. This just sounds like desperation from these "experts" to prove an unprovable theory.
