'Good news' from northern Iraq - Nation/Politics - The Washington Times, America's Newspaper

Truly fascinating stories! I am also pleasantly surprised considering that a popular and liberal news agency is stating the following:

Retired Iraqi Gen. Georges Sada, a former fighter pilot-turned-Christian evangelist, says Kurds are converting to Christianity "by the hundreds" in northern Iraq.

When you consider that your average liberal media is doing very little to report on the positive changes occurring in Iraq, you can't help but feel some level of victory. Hopefully, more people will come across this article and realize that there are much more positive changes occurring in Iraq than what is actually being reported by many of the news agencies.

General Sada himself is a fascinating person to listen to. I listened to an interview that he did with Adam McManus, a local radio talk show host. Not only was this person a General in Saddam Hussein's military, he was an Evangelical Christian during this time and in fact, the only Christian in Saddam Hussein's leadership. As a Christian, General Sada was promoted to Saddam's inner circle and served as Saddam's top military advisor.

What is truly fascinating is that General Sada actually was able to stay alive in Saddam's military. No, he didn't just quietly get by in Saddam's military. At one point he literally vocalized his opposition to one of Saddam's decision and he survived! Many other associates and Baath party members were 'eliminated' for 'committing' similar acts.

Hey, why don't you check out this fascinating story. Amazon has a book written by General Sada and you can get it by clicking on the following link:
