• The series is a sprint through 4000 years of Bible and world history to understand the events going on today.


• Covenant people are the Jewish people; the people from whom Jesus Christ came from.


• The Bible is the only book that speaks to you while you read it. The Bible tells why you are here and what you are required to do while you are here.


• Separation occurs before liberation. You have to give up what you cannot keep (the world) in order to gain (Jesus Christ), which you cannot afford to lose. Why don't you give up the world and Gain Jesus Christ which you cannot afford to lose?


• Genesis 13 - Abraham was very rich on this earth in livestock. In terms of financial liberation, God said he would make you the head, not the tail. It is the Lord that gives you the power to gain wealth. It is the Lord's will to give you houses you did not built, wells you did not dig, vineyards you did not plant; to those who are obedient to God.


• Only God can makes things happen (Separation comes before liberation and revelation.) Separation also comes before financial liberation. Sometimes God has to remove someone or something from your life to bring you liberation or revelation or the promises of God.


• What has the Jewish People/heritage done for us spiritually?


• Every hand that wrote the bible was from a Jewish person.


• The lineage of Christ is Jewish.


• If you take away the Jewish people/roots and Judaism, you don't have Christianity.


• Mohammed taught the theology of triumphantism. One must either submit to Islam in order to live or one gets killed by the conquering Muslims.


• What is behind World War III? God gave Abraham the Land of Israel and this is what is behind World War III. Furthermore, Islam teaches that Israel must be destroyed because if Israel survives, then Mohammed was wrong. That's why there will never be peace in the Middle East.


• Abraham was married to Sarah and also had a baby with Hagar, the Egyptian maid. The reason for this are as follows:

• After Ismael was born from Hagar, Abraham had a second son with Sarah, named Isaac.


• Ishmael is the father of the Arab nations and Isaac is the father of the Jewish people


• A family fued existed from this situation and this is where 4000 years of conflict between the Arabs and the Jewish people began.


• Pastor Hagee stated that there are currently 10 prophetic signs showing we are in the end times. He only named a few of them:


1. Increase of Knowledge


2. Jerusalem is no longer under Gentile rule.

My PC Is Slow, What Should I Do?

No matter how good your system is, there’ll sure be a time when you face the slow pc performance syndrome. This is a universal problem every user sure to bounce into.

So when do you consider your PC slow? When you discover that the booting up time is more than the usual loading time, there is frequent hanging of PC, taking load of time to start an application or sluggish game play.

What is the cause for this? Well, it can be due to the hardware or software issue.

A lack of memory RAM is often the main cause for hardware issue. As technology advances, more and more software with heavy bandwidth are being developed. An old system with only 64MB of memory RAM will surely pants when running these heavy duty programs. Check out your motherboard maximum memory support and upgrade the RAM to the maximum. This will see an improvement. If your memory RAM is already at its maximum, then maybe it is time to change the motherboard.

Other than the RAM, the CPU is also another culprit for the slow performance. Similar to the RAM, an old CPU will not be sufficient to support new and complex applications. It might be easy to think that changing the CPU will help; however, changing CPU is not as easy as changing ram. Most of the time, the old motherboard will not be able to support the latest CPU in the market. If you are seriously considering changing the CPU, then it might be better to upgrade the whole system.

The data storage on the hard drive is based on sector allocation. Over the time, due to frequent installation and un-installation of programs, the data sectors will be scattered all around in the hard drive, making data retrieval difficult. This in turn adds up to the loading time. The hard drive fragmentation percentage refers to the percentage of the scattering of the data sector. The higher the percentage, the slower the performance. Performance can be improved by doing a defragmentation. This will arrange the sector cluster in retrieving order and also move seldom used or unused data to a remote sector.

Running of background processes and programs will also slow down the pc performance. Most of the time, these background activities occur without your knowledge and it is always the main cause for PC hanging. To eliminate this, press “ctrl + alt + del” to access the Window Task Manager. Click on the PROCESSES tab. This window will slow all the background processes. Select the application that you don't need and click ‘End Process’. Do this with care as shutting down of important application will cause your PC to hang and all your unsaved data to be lost. Next, the right bottom panel of the window task bar shows the program running in the background. Right click on the icon and shut down the unused programs to free up the bandwidth.

With these few tips, it will be sufficient to improve your PC performance. If the above technique don't works, then you might have to consider reformatting your pc or upgrade to a new system.

Two Journalists Convert to Islam

WorldNetDaily: Kidnapped Fox News journalists freed

Steve Centanni stated:

"We were forced to convert to Islam at gunpoint. Don't get me wrong here. I have the highest respect for Islam, and I learned a lot of good things about it, but it was something we felt we had to do because they had the guns, and we didn't know what the hell was going on."

Two Fox news journalists, Steve Centanni and Olaf Wiig, were released from their captors after converting to Islam. In my opinion, the ease in which they converted to Islam has emboldened the Islamofacists. Whether their conversions were genuine or not is irrelevant. For several hundreds of years, the Moslems conquered many nations and have forced the conquered to either convert to Islam or die. Steve and Olaf's situation was no different. In the eyes of the Islamofacists, they have successfully converted two formal infidels. In addition, I believe that this situation will cause a renewal of passion among the Islamofacists to kidnap and force the conversion to Islam of other westerners. Unfortunately, in todays society, most individuals who claim to be Christians are pretty much apathetic with their beliefs and would convert to Islam at the drop of a hat if it meant the end of their lives.

Another thing I need to point out is that no one was forced to convert to Islam. Those two individuals, just like all human beings, have free will and could have chosen not to convert to Islam. Instead, they have chosen to "sell their souls to the devil" in exchange for their lives. Yes, I realize that they could have died if they had refused to convert but as I have stated previously, the ease to which they converted (at the barrel of the gun with very little, if any, torture involved) to Islam will encourage the Islamofacists to repeat this style of terrorism against other westerners.

On a side note, I would like to show the similarity between this situation and the coming situation as predicted in Bible prophecy. Consider the following verses from the book of Revelation:

Revelation 13:15-18 (New International Version)
15He was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that it could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead, 17so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.
18This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666.

Dr. Thomas Ice of the Pre-Trib Research Center best describes the above verses from Revelation:

The Bible teaches that it will be the false prophet, who is related to false religion, who will head up the campaign of the mark of the beast (Rev. 13:11-18). Revelation 13:15 makes it clear that the key issue in all of this is "worship of the image of the beast." The mark of the beast is simply a vehicle to force people to declare their allegiance- to the Antichrist or Jesus Christ. All people will be polarized into two camps. It will be impossible to take a position of neutrality or indecision on this matter. Scripture is very clear that those who do not receive the mark will be killed.

All classes of humanity will be forced to take sides: " the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves" (Rev. 13:15). Dr. Robert Thomas notes that this language " extends to all people of every civic rank, . . . all classes ranked according to wealth, . . . covers every cultural category, . . . The three expressions are a formula for universality." [1] Scripture is very specific. The false prophet will require a " mark" of loyalty and devotion to the beast and it will be " on their right hand," not the left, "or on their forehead" (Rev. 13:16). As a final note and as a warning, here is what will happen to the individuals who take the "mark" of the beast:

9A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, 10he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. He will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11And the smoke of their torment rises for ever and ever. There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or for anyone who receives the mark of his name."

• Jihad has come to America. 1.3 billion People in the world are Islamic; most of them arepeaceful, but 200,000 million are Jihadist that intends to conquer America, the Western World and Israel.


• The thwarted terrorist attack from the London Airport is and instance of the Islamofascists declaring war on us; England and America is at war.


• France is at War against Islamists as seen during last years uprising/demonstrations in the French cities


• Russia and China are allied with Iran and at war against the United States; Russia provides weapons to Iran.


• A few years back, Benjamin Netanyahu sat in Pastor Hagee's office and informed him that the Iranian scientists were developing nuclear weapons. This was not, at the time, considered by the US State Department


• Netanyahu had to provide the US photographic proof that the Russians were working with the Iranians; this was about 5 years ago.


• Israel was in a 33 day war against the Hezbollah, which isn't over yet, the cease-fire will not hold.


• Iran wants to get the world's attention with their nuclear capability and provided their weapons to the Hezbollah thru Syria.


• The current war in the Middle East region where Iran, Syria and Hezbollah are against Israel.


• Something more sinister is supposed to happen. Iran will respond 8/22 in regards to the nuclear enrichment program. In accordance with Islamic beliefs, August 22 is known as the day the 9th Iman returns. This is Islam's theology, not something John Hagee is preaching as Christian doctrine. Is it possible that Iran's president is promising a great light in the sky in Jerusalem (A nuclear disaster)? US and the State Department needs to be watching.


• Spain has already nealt down and submitted to Islam by withdrawing from Iraq after the 2004 Madrid train bombings,


• WWIII has already started; the armies of the enemies are not like what existed during WWII, or even like the enemies during the Korean and Viet Nam wars. They now move soldiers in the Civilian population and call them sleeper cells with weapons and suitcase bombs.


• The cease fire will not hold. Putting the UN peacekeepers in there is just like placing Girl Scout troops there.


• Israel and/or United States will eventually bomb Iran.


• Russia will give military authority to the Islamic countries.


• See Ezekiel 38-39


• The world will see God's shocking display of power…3 ½ years after the rapture of the church.


• Russia is already giving military leadership to the Islamic countries (As stated earlier, Netanyahu had to give the US photographic proof that the Russians were in Iran about 5 years ago.)


• For 8 years Clinton didn't do a bit of good except shoot a few rockets in an abandoned terrorist camp and scared a few camels in response to the terrorist attacks against us


• Two theologies (Christianity/Judaism vs Islam) mix like oil and water and cannot be together.


• The Islamofascists hate us; not because we support Israel. Their religion demands that they hate us. The infidels are the Jews and the Christians. They hate us because we are free.


• We must win in Iraq; if we don't fight them in Iraq, we will end up fighting the war here in the streets of New York, Detroit, Houston, Washington DC, etc.


• Let America heed these words of Winston Churchill:
  When it looked like Hitler was going to ground Europe, Winston Churchill said Victory at all costs; victory no matter how long the road was going to be. Churchill was the only man that understood Hitler and woke America up.


• In July 1977 an English Man was able to photograph an execution of fornicators (teenage boy and girl) in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is the only country that still practices execution of apostates.


• In Apr 2002 in Riyadh, a cleric said that America is the root of all evil. He said to wage holy war and pillage them (the United States).




• Interesting Parallelism between Nazism and Islamofacism:


• Adolph Hitler wrote a book call "Mein Kampf" which means my struggle. Islam has what's called "Jihad", which also means "my struggle".


• Adolf Hitler desensitized children by teaching them to kill dogs and cats and they eventually learned to kill Jews as SS Armies. Islamofascists teach children to hate America and Jews and to blow them up as suicide bombers.


• Hitler killed 6 million Jews, Ironically, there are currently 6 million Jews in Israel and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said he wants to kill 6 mil Jews that are now in Israel.


• Hitler contacted and worked with the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem to eliminate them. Ironically, Yaser Arafat was his nephew


• The Grand Mufti teachings are in the Hamas Charter


• The difference between the Nazi and Islamofascists are that the Islamists DO want to die whereas the Nazis rather surrender than die; this makes the Islamofascists more dangerous.


• Technically, we have not won since WWII. If we lose against the Islamofacists, Sharia Law will be implemented in the United States


• We must stand up as bible believing Christians and stand up against Islam.

LOVE FROM THE CROSS

What kind of love is this, that Jesus would show mercy and forgiveness to this man while He was hanging on that old rugged cross for our sins? It is the same love from the Heart of our Saviour that helped Him walk that long, lonely road to Calvary. It is unconditional love from the Heart of Jesus. It is a love for His Father and for us that caused Him to say "Not my will, but thine be done".

Jesus had been beaten beyond recognition. He had been spat upon, tortured and abused more than any person. I think while He was hanging on that cross that even in the midst of the unbearable pain, His Heart was filled with love and forgiveness for us. He had been deserted by everyone who claimed to be His friend. Sad to say, but even today we who claim to be His friends desert Him to follow our own desires.

Jesus died for us so that we can have the assurance of salvation through His shed blood on the cross. He not only suffered physically, he suffered emotionally. He knows what it is like to be rejected, ridiculed and scorned. He has felt the pain of criticism and sarcasm. It is no wonder that Jesus understands how we feel; His Heart was broken that day as He was hanging there for us and tears flowed from His Heart.

Have you invited the Christ of Calvary into your heart? Please don't reject Him after all He has done for you. He Loves you so much and desires to give you peace, joy and forgiveness. Yes, love and mercy flowed from the Heart of our Saviour that day.

Ultimately, the truth must prevail:

Heads of the film industry in Hollywood and prominent movie stars have signed a statement blaming Hamas and Hizbullah for terror activities in the Middle East, the war in Lebanon, and for harming innocents.

Some of the Hollywood's elite finally get it! About 84 high profile movie stars such as Nicole Kidman, Michael Douglas, Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Danny De Vito, and Don Johnson, major directors and other Hollywood members are basically siding with Israel and the truth by condemning the Hezbollah and the Hamas. Unlike much of the world who are blaming Israel for the current instability in the region, these people are speaking out in truth and indicating, in a nutshell, that the Hamas and the Hezbollah are not legitimate government bodies, but are terrorists who want to see Israel wiped off the map. By putting out the Anti-terrorism ad, these Hollywood members must have realized that by doing this, they are risking rejection from their extreme Liberal Left counterparts in both Hollywood and in the US Government, and many other nations.

Thank God for these individuals' tremendous courage and desire to ensure the truth gets out and that terrorism is defeated. They know who the enemies are. I hope and pray that our liberal senators and representatives learn this truth as well. The following is an excerpt from the Anti-terrorism ad:

• It is possible for someone to have a healing crusade and a deliverance ministry but at the Day of Judgment God says I don't know you.


• God does not look at the messenger, the message is powerful enough where if a drunkard preaches John 3:16, a person can still get saved. Don't get hooked on the man or the messenger, get hooked on Jesus Christ.


• Many will say didn't we do miracles and wonders in your name, God will say I never knew you.


• If you have not confessed your sins or been to the Cross, you are singing about the heaven you will never see.


• The word therefore means let a man exam himself to ensure he is not just a hearer of the word, but the doer of the word. Jesus distinguishes between hearing and doing the word.


• When you come to Christ you are given a new nature and you can't get that from a psychopsycho-cyberneticscybernetics or the cotton candy gospel being preached in some churches. (My note: Like the seeker friendly or the Emergent Churches)


• You cannot confront what you can't change. If you don't allow your sin nature to be crucified at the Cross the sin will destroy you.


• It's not enough to say amen you must do it. Be doers of the word not just hearers. This is like the man who built his foundation on the rock


• The second foundation is sand…some are choosing the foundation of self. Many are choosing the foundation of materialism.


• Life is made by what you give not by what you get.


• Why be politically correct when you can be right? Those who believe the Bible can escape hell, sickness, poverty, etc.


• There are two deceptions in this story of Mathew 7:24-27:


• First deception is that quick success is lasting success - the man who built on sand had quick success. The man building on rock looked like he was failing because of the time it took to build. Quick success is not permanent.


• Second deception is that appearance is the test of approval (the quality of your preparation determines the quality of your success)


• Everyone is building a house here on earth by what they believe and actually do and you are going to live in it, both here in the temporal on earth and in eternity.

THE SHELTER OF HIS NAME

For the last five days, I have been running to Jesus almost every hour and saying His Precious Name. There is shelter and safety in the Name of Jesus. I have been going through a situation that I havent told to anyone, except Jesus.

I have lost my temper every day for the last five days at the situation. Jesus said Be ye angry, and sin not. It was okay for me to get angry but if I had acted on my anger like I wanted to do, it would have become sin to me.

I had a terrible temper before Jesus saved me and changed my heart and satan will always attack us in the most vulnerable areas of our lives. I dont want to lose my temper because it doesnt help the situation and it certainly doesnt point others to Jesus.

The situation was resolved five hours ago and everything is wonderful now. However, only Jesus could have given me Peace in the midst of this attack by satan. If you are going through trials and you feel like you are losing control, run into the waiting Arms of Jesus and whisper His Precious Name.

United States, Help Israel or Get Out of the Way!

Today, a major terrorist plot was thwarted:

British authorities said Thursday they thwarted a terrorist plot to simultaneously blow up 10 aircraft heading to the U.S. using explosives smuggled in hand luggage, averting what police described as "mass murder on an unimaginable scale."

Congratulations to those who were vigilant in preventing a major catastrophe from occurring. We need to continue to focus on the terrorist threats currently being directed against us.

We need to stop our ignorance and allow Israel to do their job. In fact, to a certain extent, Israel is doing a good part of the job for us. If you recall, it was the Hezbollah organization that terrorized us by the 1983 bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon that killed 200 Americans and the 1996 Khobar Towers attack in Saudi Arabia that killed 19 Americans and wounded more than 300. When you think about this, it is awfully nice for the Israelis to go after the terrorists that we should be following up on. Heck, for the matter, we should be assisting Israel in hunting down the Hezbollah terrorists. Instead, it appears that our country has chosen to go down the politically correct road:

The White House said Wednesday neither Israel nor Hezbollah should escalate their month-old war, as Israel decided to widen its ground invasion in southern Lebanon.

White House press secretary Tony Snow said the U.S. message was for both sides, though his remarks came after Israel's Security Cabinet voted to expand the war effort in an attempt to deal further blows to Hezbollah.

I would like to also include the following quote from a commentary which pretty much summarizes how much of the world feels about Israel defending themselves:

The world is a lot more comfortable with an Israel that does not fight back. And so are a lot of Jews. Steven Spielberg's movie "Munich" made the argument that when Israel kills terrorists it risks becoming like the terrorists.

Apparently, Israel had no choice, but to change its offensive tactic. Take a look at the following quote from the Hannity and Colmes show aired yesterday:

COLMES: You know, there's talk of a cease-fire agreement would have 15,000 Lebanese troops on the southern border. It would also have kind of a prisoner exchange, U.N. peacekeeping forces, as well. Shouldn't we be pushing for that, shouldn't that be the way to go, and why shouldn't we not push further, harder to make this happen as quickly as possible?

NORTH: Well, Alan, what's happened, of course, and the reason why Bill Hemmer is reporting on this new offensive is because of the failure of the United Nations to come up with a strong resolution providing for a powerful multinational force. That's what drove the decision to go in today. They'd been hoping for a well-armed international intervention force to enter south Lebanon.

Now I would think that our nation's leaders were aware that the reason for the change in Israelis' offensive is because the United Nations failed to do their part in providing a strong multinational force to assist in disarming the Hezbollah. With this problem on hand, what is Israel supposed to do? I guess the rest of the world actually believes that Israel just needs to lay down their weapons and let the enemies come in and take over and kill as many people as possible.

For a moment, lets revisit our president's criticism of Israel's change of strategy. If you recall, President Bush faced a similar situation back in 2003 when we failed to get a U.N. endorsement for the invasion of Iraq. I realize that in this situation, we had evidence of Saddam Hussein possessing weapons of mass destruction. I understand all that, but, how is it that Israel, a country trying to defend itself from a real and imminent threat, needs to scale back on their offense when our president not once suggested that we attack Iraq in a 'conservative' fashion? If Israel is to be condemned for defending itself, how much more should we be condemned for being in Iraq? I think it is great that we are trying to thwart the spread of terrorism into Iraq from countries such as Iran. It is important that we do this. But at the same time, we need to keep our mouths shut and allow Israel defeat the terrorists that have attack us as well. In fact, it appears that the Hezbollah has sleeper cells here in the United States and can attack multiple cities at the same time, at any given moment.

Now, instead of condemning Israel for fighting the terrorists, how about praying for the peace of Jerusalem.

At the risk of dating this article, previously unseen U.S. gas prices of over $3.00 are now common in some areas. I know those in Europe and elsewhere pay much more, but we can agree over the past year that many countries have recently seen huge spikes.

Rising gas prices affect all of us in some degree. Unless you walk, your cost of commuting to work increases. The prices of goods climb due to increased transportation costs. How can you decrease the impact on your pocketbook?

Luckily the Internet offers many different ways to help ease your burden. Note that many of these sites are geared towards the United States.

1. Search for Cheaper Gas Prices Online

Cheaper gasoline prices may be available but tough to find. Instead of driving from station to station checking for cheap prices or traveling 20 miles out of the way, try the following sites:

Carefully read the times reported for the gasoline prices! The cost of gas can rise or fall sharply (though it tends to do more of the former) in the span of a few hours.

It just makes sense that if you know where you're going and don't get lost, you'll require less gas getting there. Browse these websites to help you plan your journey; some even display satellite maps to further assist your travels:

Tired of idling? We all want to arrive at our destinations sooner, avoiding gas-guzzling traffic jams. These websites provide traffic information, provided you live in supported metro areas:

• GOD IS A COVENANT GOD - God will not do anything significant and permanent with man without a covenant.

(In other words, you allow strife to exist between yourself and other Christian brothers and sisters. This strife can come as a result of gossiping, slandering other Christians, etc.)


• Breaking covenant brings judgment.


• Keeping covenant brings God's protection.


• Keeping covenant brings the miracle working power of God.

• As indicated in Joshua 9, the Gibeonites were the next people to be conquered by Joshua


• Joshua hastily and stupidly entered in a quick covenant with Gibeonites.


• The Gibeonites lied to get into the covenant (Becareful who you get into covenant with!). God never breaks covenant and he told Joshua he was not to break covenant, even if he stupidly entered in one. Joshua had to go and defend the Gibeonites


• When you make covenant and you live in the covenant God will send the blessing to help you supernaturally be able to continue to live in covenant.


• America was born in covenant (Mayflower Compact).


• Mayflower Compact did not include two men or two women marrying together. The Mayflower Compact did not include teaching teenagers how to put a condom on. They did not have to worry about those problems. They chose to live in covenant with God.


• It is time for the America to renew their covenant with God. We need to become one nation under God without apology.


• In making of the covenant, the sacrifice is split in half. The Hebrew word for covenant is to cut. Gentiles today enter into covenant through baptism and cutting themselves from the rest of the world after getting saved.


• When you take communion in church you say you are bound to every believer in Christ by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Christians United for Al Gore's 'Inconvenient Truth'?

Well, allow me to start off by congratulating all pro-environmentalists, both Christians and non-Christians, who are willing to throw their money away for higher gas prices 'for the sake of this planet'. The real inconvenient truth is that these individuals are willing to stand by and watch as hard working Americans struggle to make ends meet and barely able to afford to drive to work due to the rapidly increasing cost of gasoline. Never mind that many of these people are stuck with what they have for a vehicle and don't have the means to go out and purchase a hybrid car.

In the past, it was expected that the liberal left were the ones selling and buying into the 'global warming' controversy. Now, a number of Christian Evangelicals have gone out and bought 'titles to swamp lands in Florida'. Unfortunately, you now have leaders from the Christian community toying publicly with the idea of 'global warming'.

• Back in February, 2006:
  

  Conducted by Ellison Research, the survey indicates a majority of evangelicals agree with 85 Christian leaders who signed an Evangelical Climate Initiative unveiled Feb. 8 that calls for government action to deal with so-called global warming. ...Signers of the initiative include, among others, Rick Warren, pastor and author of "The Purpose Driven Life," Rich Stearns, president of World Vision, Commissioner Todd Bassett, national commander of The Salvation Army, and David Neff, executive editor of Christianity Today. Needless to say, if the environmentalists win, our economy will suffer. It is the goal of the environmentalists for our country to get in line with the Kyoto Protocol. The Kyoto Protocol does not place restrictions on developing/third-world countries such as China and India who are heavy users of fossil fuels and one of the most populous countries in the world. The expectation to reduce the use of fossil fuels will be imposed on fully developed countries, such as the United States. Higher fuel prices is the most likely method to be used to discourage the use of fossil fuels. See the following article for additional information:

• The Interfaith Stewardship Alliance, formed in opposition to the ECI, officially released a statement last week, endorsed by 100 evangelical leaders and scientists. The following are excerpts from this statement:

  of global warming and would not significantly reduce alleged harmful effects.
  • Government-mandated carbon dioxide emissions reductions not only would not significantly curtail global
  warming or reduce its harmful effects but also would cause greater harm than good to humanity-especially
  the poor-while offering virtually no benefit to the rest of the world's inhabitants.

Another interesting consideration is that apparently, the current high temperatures are not the hottest on record. In fact, the hottest temperatures of the summer occurred before anyone could even spell the word 'global warming':

How To Share Christ With A Nonbeliever

We're told by Jesus to go out into the whole world and tell others about the Good News?

But just how can we do that?



Here's my top ten suggestions on how to share Christ with a nonbeliever.



1. Look for common interests. WIth most people, it does little good to hit people over the head with a Bible. Instead, talk about common interests, problems, experiences. In other words, build a relationship.



2. Listen more than you talk for the first few minutes. Ask questions. How did that make you feel? What did you think about then? Then what? Open -ended questions are always the best.



3. Empathize. Sympathize. Let your eyes and body language convey to the person that you are listening and understand. Don't pass judgment. Don't ever say "I know just how you feel." you don't.



4. Ask questions that let you go for Biblical direction. "Have you read what the Bible says about this?" Or "Can we see what the Bible says about this?" Always present the Bible as an authoritative resource. Try some humor.You know the acronym for BIBLE:



Basic...Instructions...Before...Leaving...Earth.



5. Share your story. Tell about your life BC - Before Christ. And your life AC - After Christ. Learn to be able to give your personal testimony in three minutes or left.



6. Don't be afraid to say you don;t know the answer to a particular question or problem. Offer to check it out and promise to get back with an answer or scriptural reference. And do so.



7. Remember your witness. Often, before a friend or coworker seeks spiritual counsel, they've been watching you for weeks. If you stress out or lose your temper, apologize. No one expects you to be perfect. It's how you handle difficulties that often open the door for a conversation.



8. Seek out open doors for a continuing dialogue. Don't try to deal with every issue in one meeting.Take time to discuss one or two in depth. Try to arrange follow up discussion times.



9. Invite them to church. There they can find true spiritual community. Offer to pick them p and drive them and treat them to lunch afterwards.



10. Practice lifestyle evangelism. Have a Bible always handy. Wear Christian T-shirts or jewelry where appropriate. Many a spiritual conversation has started because of a T-shirt.
